When brothers harm us, or rape, & kill others our hearts bleed & weep. But when we feel and have love, no one convinces us otherwise. So, if I tell you I possess love for you as my kindred, is my unproven word enough for you to trust & know it exists? We are the Family of Man. We are eternally one. We are the potent blood flowing through the universe’s ineffable, unassailable heart. Love tests us daily to commit ourselves to its unconditional power, despite what we see, hear, and suffer.
