It seemed a typical dawn, as I unfolded the arms of heaven’s embrace from my dreams. To step out from my inner world of pastoral peace, back out into the forest land where we made our home, was as if I’d awakened into a dense, physically limiting world. It seemed more like a reflection of reality than reality itself. The world was suddenly more sluggish and languid and less immediate.
